Winter House on a wintery day!

Today's weather is terrible - blowy and snowy! Stay warm!

Here is a small set of Christmas Cards for a swap – using the Winter House stamp from Rosewood. Hope you like them!

Winter House Z Card:
Card dimensions – 4 ¼ h x 5 ½” w

Materials: CS – Bazzill; Paper –Accademia (Fabriano); Ink – Versamark (Tsukineko), New England Ivy (CTMH); Stamps – Winter House (Rosewood), Sentiment from Wishing You (Stampin’ Up); Punches – Slit Punch (Stampin’ Up), ¼” hole (Staples); Ribbon – Silver Metallic (Offray); Tombow markers, waterbrush, Detail silver embossing powder (Stampendous), Liquid Applique (Marvy), Crystal fine glitter (Martha Stewart Crafts).

This card base was done in the Z Card fold – a nice way to do an A2 card with a twist!
The main image was embossed then watercoloured with markers. I then used Liquid Applique on the spots where the snow would sit – and as soon as I added that, I sprinkled over it with crystal fine glitter. Once the Liquid Applique was dry – I used the heat tool to puff it up, following directions on the tube. The glitter made the Liquid Applique all sparkley! After that – I used a glue pen to add more crystal fine glitter to the photo. Here’s a close up on the main image:

Until next time, have a great day!

Wow! This is one of those cards that looks so simple till you start seeing all the touches that make it a very special card indeed. Thanks for posting!

This is a lovely card. And I like
the simplicity of it and yet that
is not the politically correct
description to give it. Because there is nothing simple in it.

Adorable. This looks like a palce I rented last winter for Christmas. Your cards are really great!
