My apologies, but I don't have a brand new Turtle Tuesday card for today. So instead, I thought I would show you again - my personal favorite Turtle Tuesday, in case you are a new visitor to my blog. And remember, if you like the Turtle Tuesday cards, you can find a list of all my special topic cards on the Right side of this blog, under Categories. Just select Turtle Tuesday and you can review all the previous weeks cards if you would like.
Turtle Spinner Birthday:
Card dimensions 6" x 6"
And here it is with all 4 of the images in the spinner showing:
Materials: CS - Cocoa, White, Sweet Leaf, Blush (CTMH); PP - Cocoa Cafe Designer Collection (CTMH); Ink - Cocoa (CTMH); Stamp - Birthday Turtle Clear Set (Inky Antics); Coluzzle swivel knife/mat/Spinner card template, brad, 2-way glue (ZIG), dimensionals (SU!), pencil crayons (Laurentian), Sakura Stardust Pen.
And here is the original write up on the card, for your reference:
The card base is made out of Cocoa CS cut to 6" x 12" and folded in half to form a 6" x 6" card. Using the Coluzzle Spinner template, cut out the card top and spinner wheel. Briefly assemble the card top and spinner wheel with the brad to see where you wish to cut out the hole/window (so you can reveal the spinner), then take apart and cut out the window. Assemble the top and spinner again, and stamp your images inside the hole onto the spinner, turning the spinner between images so that the previous image is completely hidden when you stamp the next image. Colour images as desired - I used basic pencil crayon colouring - quick and easy. I attached the topper and spinner to the card base with dimensionals so that the recipient could easily turn the spinner wheel. DONE!
Now - don't have the Coluzzle Spinner Card template? No problem! Click on THIS LINK to go to the tutorial on SplitCoast Stampers where it shows you how to make your own spinner card without this Spinner template (however you still do need some way of making a circle - try a plate if you don't have the circle template). The Spinner Card Template just makes it a bit quickly and easier - but anyone can make this card regardless.
Until next time, have a great day!
