Another Faux Wood background!

Here is the other card I made using a Faux Wood background, with a twist. I sprayed the CS lightly with water and then crumpled it up to add some texture. Keep in mind that wood grain does not run in all directions - just up and down, so keep your crumpling to a linear, almost fold action, so that the texture runs with the grain you add using your ink pads.

After you crumple - let it dry and then lightly smooth out the paper until it has as much texture as you like. Take at look at my sample.

Heard you're moo-ving:
Card dimensions: 6" w x 5 1/2" h

Materials: Stamp - Walk this Way (retired, SU!); Ink - Black, White Daisy, Grey Wool, Bamboo (CTMH); CS - Grey Wool, Black, Grey flannel, White (CTMH); black fine point marker (Marvy), mini pop dots, Word Window punch (SU!), computer font, Prismacolor pencils, Gamsol, blending stump.
Hope you are inspired! The rest of the week will probably be centred on Mother's Day cards - so don't forget your Mom (or Mum as we say in our family) or Grandma or other special mother-figure in your life!
Until next time, have a great day!
