Happy Turtle Tuesday!

In keeping with the Theme Week of Giga Scallop Circle Punch Alternative Uses - here is the Turtle Card for today - a quick and simple one. Look closely, do you see the Giga scalloped circle?????

Turtle and Friend:
Card dimensions 5 1/2" w x 4 1/4" h.

Materials: CS - white, Sweet Leaf (CTMH); Ink - Black (CTMH), stamps - Loads of Love Accessories (SU!), Birthday Turtle (Inky Antics); pencil crayons (Laurentian), chalks, cotton ball, embroidery thread (Anchor #261), 1/8" hole punch (Fiskars), Giga scalloped circle punch (Marvvy).

The giga scallop circle punch was used as a template to make the clouds in the sky. To do this, punch out a scalloped circle, and using chalks on a cotton ball (or other applicator of your choice) lay the scalloped circle down and rub the chalk around the edge of the scallop. Move the scallop around and continue to chalk the sky. The scallop circle part that is unchalked underneath becomes the cloud shape. Here is a photo to see this:

Give it a try for yourself and see how you like this effect. Lots of people have a cloud template that they purchased, but no need now!
To make the grass on this card, I used a 1/8" hole punch and punched a row of holes along the bottom of the card, roughly 1/2" up. Then I threaded embroidery thread through the holes and cut to the length desired - just like cutting real grass!
So there you go - one more use for that awesome Giga scalloped Circle Punch (Marvvy).
Tomorrow - you will need to get out your scissors, because we are cutting up the Scalloped circle!
Until next time, have a great day.
